Welcome to Vallo
Vallo is an AI agent for small home-services businesses. When someone calls your business and you can't answer, Vallo picks up, has a real conversation with the caller, captures who they are and what they need, and sends you a summary so you can follow up later.
What Vallo does
- Answers your phone when you can't
- Asks the caller a few questions about their service need (what's happening, when, where)
- Records and transcribes the conversation
- Emails you a summary with their name, phone, and what they want
- Lets you review every call from your dashboard
What Vallo isn't
- Not a phone tree or auto-attendant — it's a real conversation, not "press 1 for sales"
- Not a robocaller or lead generator — it only handles your inbound calls
- Not a replacement for booking software — it gathers the info; you decide what to do with the lead
Who Vallo is built for
Owner-operated home-services businesses (1–5 people): HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lawn care, roofing, pest control, tree service. If you frequently miss calls because you're on a job site or driving, Vallo solves that.
How a call works, end to end
Here's what happens when a customer calls your business and Vallo answers:
- Caller dials your business number. Your phone rings (or doesn't, depending on how you've set up forwarding).
- The call forwards to Vallo's number. This happens silently in the background — the caller doesn't know.
- Vallo picks up and greets the caller using the greeting you set during setup. ("Hi, you've reached [your business] — this is Vallo. How can I help?")
- Vallo has a conversation. It asks the questions you set up (e.g. "What's the issue?", "What's your address?", "When did this start?") plus the caller's name and phone if they didn't say it already.
- The call ends. Either Vallo wraps up naturally, the caller hangs up, or Vallo offers to transfer to you (if you've set up transfer rules).
- Vallo sends you an email within ~30 seconds. It includes the caller's name, phone, summary of what they need, and a link to the full transcript.
- You follow up at your convenience from the dashboard or directly.
How long does a call take?
Most calls last 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Vallo doesn't waste the caller's time — it asks what it needs to ask and then offers to either transfer the call or end politely.
